DiSanto awarded PrestoSports Men's Basketball Athlete of The Week Award

CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has named Cortland's Jake DiSanto (Victor, N.Y.) the PrestoSports Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week.

DiSanto shot 9-for-13 from 3-point range (10-for-14 overall) and scored a career-high 29 points, and also added four assists, in Cortland's 100-73 victory at Buffalo State Saturday. He scored 20 of his points in the first half to help the Red Dragons build a 61-34 halftime lead. DiSanto's nine 3-pointers were one shy of the Cortland single-game record. The previous night he scored 15 points on 5-of-9 3-point shooting in an 82-68 win at Fredonia. DiSanto finished the week averaging 22 points per game and shooting 14-for-22 (64 percent) from the 3-point arc.
