Laker goalie Steven Kozikoski improved his career mark to 3-0 with a pair of road victories this past weekend. On Friday, the sophomore netminder made 31 saves in a 4-2 win over Plattsburgh and another 30 against Potsdam in a 5-1 triumph on Saturday. The Liverpool, N.Y. native posted a .953 save percentage and has Oswego on a three-game win streak.
Senior Michael Gillespie had points on all four Oswego goals, including scoring the final empty-netter, in a 4-2 victory over Plattsburgh. The New City, N.Y. native had a goal and an assist the next day against Potsdam to give him six points on the weekend and put the Lakers on a three-game winning streak.
Freshman Alex DiCarlo continued his offensive tear this past weekend with a pair of goals in both Lakers victories, including both game winners, and now had eight points in his last three contests. DiCarlo has become a key feature of the Laker power play, netting three of his four goals this past weekend on the man-advantage.
