SUNYAC Selects PrestoSports Men's Swimming and Diving Athletes of the Week

CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Agthletic Conference (SUNYAC) announces this week's recipients of the PrestoSports Men's Swimmer and Diver of the Week. Geneseo's Will Eng (Massapequa, N.Y.) and Oswego's Cameron Ellis (West Nyack) earned these rewards respectively.

Eng earned first place finishes in the 100 back, 200 IM and anchored the Knights' first place 200 medley relay team at the Geneseo Invitational on Saturday. In the 100 back, Eng finished in 53.56 and then clocked a 2:00.55 finished in the 200 IM. He joined teammates Mitchell Phelps, Kaz Sampson and Sam Matthews to place first in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:34.99 

Sophomore Cameron Ellis won both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events against Potsdam to help the Lakers improve to 7-2 on the season. Ellis scored 296.80 from 1-meters and 327.30 from 3-meters a week after a pair of top-3 showings at Ithaca's Dick Comanzo Diving Invitational. Ellis and the Lakers will return to action at the SUNYAC Championships from February 19-22.
