Devin Phelps from Cortland is this week's mens lacrosse athlete of the week. He led the seventh-ranked Red Dragons to a pair of road wins last week with nine points on three goals and two assists and added six ground balls and two caused turnovers. In a season-opening 13-8 victory at Scranton on Tuesday, Phelps totaled six points on one goal and five assists and recorded six ground balls and two caused turnovers. He then tallied two goals and one assist as Cortland defeated Nazareth, 13-6, on Thursday.
