Ruland played a pivotal role in the Cardinals’ road SUNYAC contest at Oswego State, finishing with a career- and game-high seven points on five goals and two assists to lead Plattsburgh to a 12-10 victory. The junior attacker was highly efficient, putting eight of nine shots on goal for an 88.9% SOG rate, while also contributing two ground balls. Ruland set the tone for Plattsburgh’s offense and helped the Cardinals secure their second consecutive conference win.
