Francey played a pivotal role in the Cardinals’ defensive effort in their 10-6 SUNYAC opener against New Paltz. The sophomore midfielder recorded a career- and game-high six caused turnovers, tied for fifth in program history for a single game, and added two ground balls, consistently disrupting the Hawks’ offensive rhythm. He also showed strong composure with possession, committing just one turnover, and contributed offensively with a goal and an assist, helping Plattsburgh secure the conference-opening win.
