Cortland Repeats as SUNYAC Men's Indoor Track & Field Team Champions
BROCKPORT, N.Y. - Cortland captured the 2026 SUNYAC men's indoor track and field championship with 235 points, Saturday at Brockport's SERC Field House. This is the Red Dragons second-straight SUNYAC title and 10th overall. Penn State Behrend finished second while Fredonia was third.
Awards:
The Men's Performer of the Meet, with the most overall points, is Isaiah Brunache from Cortland.
The Men's Co-Rookies of the Meet, tied for the most points among rookies, are Kejhaune Lester from Oneonta and Samuel Van Auken from Plattsburgh
All-Conference
The All-Conference first, second and third teams consist of the top three finishers in each event.
Elite 20
The SUNYAC Elite 20, is an award modeled after the NCAA ELITE 90 program, which recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the conference championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers. The 2026 Men's Indoor Track and Field Elite 20 award winner is Plattsburgh's Ethan Cyress, a sophomore Biomedical sciences major with a 4.0 overall GPA.
