Cortland Captures 2024 SUNYAC Men's Cross Country Team Title
Oneonta's Jonthomas Bierman finishes first
OSWEGO, N.Y. - Cortland won the 2024 SUNYAC men's cross country championship, Saturday at the Fallbrook Recreation Center in Oswego. This is the Red Dragons first win since 2013 and their 15th overall men's cross country title in program history. Oneonta finished second and Fredonia was third. Oneonta senior Jonthomas Bierman won the 8k race crossing the line in 26:46.1 while New Paltz's Evan Miller was second and Fredonia's Stephen Hallberg was third.

Enshrinement into the Hall of Fame is attained by meeting one of the following three criteria:
Finishing in the Top 5 during one championship
Finishing in the Top 10 during two championships
Finishing in the Top 15 during three championships
Elite 20
The SUNYAC Elite 20, an award modeled after the NCAA ELITE 90 program, recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the conference championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers. This year the SUNYAC honors Plattsburgh's Graham Richard, a sophomore psychology major with a 4.0 overall GPA.
