2026 SUNYAC Softball Championship Matchups Set; May 7-9
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - New Paltz finished the 2026 regular season 17-1 in conference play to take the top seed and the right to host the SUNYAC softball championship. The championship tournament will run from Thursday-Saturday, May 7-9 at Mary Gray Deane Field.
The first two games of the tournament will be single elimination. Those games will feature No. 6 Oswego vs. No. 3 Buffalo State at 10 a.m. and No. 5 Oneonta against No. 4 Fredonia at noon. on Thursday. The winner of game one and game two will move on to face No. 2 Cortland at 3 p.m. and top seed and host New Paltz at 5 p.m. respectively. View the full schedule here.
