Jackie Rometo, SBALL, Athlete, New Paltz

Rometo repeats as the SUNYAC Softball Athlete of the Week after averaging .556 at the plate to go along with a perfect fielding percentage. The Hawks went 6-0 on the week where they extended their winning streak to a program record 16 games. Rometo went 4-for-5 with two runs, four RBI, a double and a triple Tuesday in a non-conference doubleheader against Baruch. Over the weekend, she had four runs, six hits, and six RBI in sweeps over Plattsburgh and Potsdam.
