Aldrich had a breakthrough day for the Pioneers at Lycoming College’s Rennie Rodarmel Allstate Invitational, placing second in the 149-pound bracket. En route to his silver-medal placement, Aldrich defeated Muhlenberg’s Jay Lenio and Misericordia’s Brady Quinn, each by fall within two minutes. He began his day against Lenio, taking a 6-1 lead in the match before securing the fall after 1:38. In his matchup with Quinn, Aldrich was down 5-2, but was able to flip the momentum, completing the pin at 1:57. Aldrich lost to King’s College’s Shane Kibler in the first place match via tech fall.
