Melissa Innocent Tabbed SUNYAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The SUNYAC recognizes Cortland's Melissa Innocent as its Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week after the second week of competition in the 2024 season.
Innocent finished first out of 60 runners at the Oswego Invitational. She covered the 4,000-meter course in 15:47.3, 13 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher. Her performance helped Cortland finish second in the team standings.
