Cortland baseball to host SUNYAC tournament
Cortland baseball earned the right to host the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) tournament as the top seed after going 17-1 in regular season conference play.
The four-team double elimination tournament starts Friday, May 1 with Cortland facing No. 4 Fredonia (8-10) at noon followed by second-seeded Oswego (14-4) against No. 3 Brockport (9-8) at 3:30 p.m.
The tournament will continue Saturday with games at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. The championship game is set for Sunday, May 3 at noon with an if needed game later in the day.
