Geneseo's Milkovich Recognized by ECAC
Geneseo's Michelle Milkovich (Vestal, NY/Vestal) has been named the Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week by the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) for the week ending October 17. It is her second honor of the season, previously garnering recognition on Oct. 6.
Milkovich posted three goals with one assist in a 2-0 week for Geneseo. She scored the game-tying goal and assisted on the game winner in a 3-2 win over St. Lawrence. Milkovich went on to score both goals in a 2-0 victory over Brockport.
She currently has 12 goals and nine assists on the season, setting a school record for points in a season with 33 and the win over Brockport gave the Blue Knights a school record 12th win of the season.
Milkovich is currently ranked in several categories for Division III including 13th for assists per game (.69) and 34th in poinsts per game (2.54).
