Salisbury Wins 2025 SUNYAC Field Hockey Title
NEW PALTZ, N.Y. - Salisbury beat Cortland,7-1, to clinch its first SUNYAC field hockey championship, Saturday at New Paltz's North Turf Field. This was the Sea Gulls first year competing in the SUNYAC as an associate member. With the win Salisbury earned an automatic berth into the 2025 NCAA DIII tournament.
Marli McDorman was named the SUNYAC Field Hockey Tournament MVP after scoring three goals and adding three assits in the two tournament games to help the Sea Gulls win the 2025 SUNYAC field hockey championship.

The SUNYAC Elite 20, an award modeled after the NCAA ELITE 90 program, recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the conference championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers.
Abigail Draper from Oneonta has been honored as this year's SUNYAC Field Hockey Elite 20 winner. Draper is a junior adolescent education-mathematics major with a 3.98 overall GPA.
