Cortland Wins Second Straight SUNYAC Men's Lacrosse Championship
CORTLAND, N.Y. - Cortland defeated Oneonta, 18-7, to capture its second straight and 30th overall SUNYAC men's lacrosse championship title, Saturday at Cortland's Grady Field. With the win, the Red Dragons earned an automatic berth into the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Tournament.
Nicky Miltenberger was named the 2026 SUNYAC Men's Lacrosse MVP after totaling 19 ground balls and adding two goals and one assist in the two tournament games.
Elite 20
The SUNYAC Elite 20, an award modeled after the NCAA ELITE 90 program, recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the conference championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers.
This year the SUNYAC honors Oneonta's Wyatt Martin a junior Biology major with a 3.89 overall GPA.
