2014 IWLC Women's Lacrosse Regional Teams Announced
The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) is pleased to announce the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-Regional performers for the spring of 2014. In the Empire All-Region, SUNYAC had nine athletes who made first team and eight athletes who made second team.
On the first team the nine players who made the team include three Cortland athletes Erica Geremia, Emma Hayes-Hurley, and Jessica Lavelle. Caroline Buonocore and Emily Haggerty both of Geneseo were honored as well. The other four athletes who made first team include Marissa Makur of Oneonta, Nichole Greco of Oswego and Marissa Cussins and Katie Kleine of Fredonia.
On the second team there were eight athletes who were honored, they are Liz Ingalls and Kristen Ohberg of Cortland, Katey Hart and Bridget McGovern of Geneseo, Kiera McNally and Casey Sarle of Oneonta, Mary Bruton of Fredonia and Kelly Wall of Brockport.
