Cortland women's lacrosse earns top seed going into SUNYAC Tournament
CORTLAND, N.Y. - Cortland women's lacrosse went undefeated in the conference, 8-0, to earn a first round bye and the right to host the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) semifinals and finals.
In the six-team tournament, the third and fourth seeds, Geneseo (6-2) and Brockport (5-3) will host a first round game against Buffalo State (2-6) and Oneonta (4-4) respectively Tuesday, April 28 at 4 p.m.
The second seeded Fredonia (7-1) also earned a first round bye and will face the winner of Tuesday's game between Geneseo/Buffalo State.
The semifinals are set for Friday, May 1 at 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. and the Championship game will be at Cortland, Saturday, May 2 at 1 p.m.
