Women's Soccer to Host Cystic Fibrosis Fundraiser Weekend
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State women's soccer team will be hosting Cystic Fibrosis games this weekend (Oct. 9/10) against New Paltz and Oneonta.
This is the second-consecutive season that the Cardinals have hosted this fundraiser which raised hundreds of dollars in its first year.
The game will be used to help create awareness about Cystic Fibrosis which is a life-threatening genetic lung disease that affects over 30 thousands Americans.
The women's team will be selling t-shirts during the game for $15 apiece and will also be having a Plattsburgh State women's soccer gift bag raffle on both days. Prices for the raffle are $2 dollars per ticket or $5 for three tickets. Checks can also be made out to kick it donation. All proceeds will be donated towards Cystic Fibrosis research.
