Cortland Lifts SUNYAC Women's Volleyball Championship Trophy for Fifth Consecutive Year
CORTLAND, N.Y. - Cortland defeated Oswego, 3-0, to capture its fifth straight and 24th overall SUNYAC women's volleyball championship title, Saturday at Cortland's Whitney T. Corey Gymnasium. With the win, the Red Dragons earned an automatic berth into the 2025 NCAA Division III tournament.
Lauren Millspaugh was named the SUNYAC Women's Volleyball Tournament MVP after totaling 16 kills and six blocks in the two matches for Cortland.

The SUNYAC Elite 20, an award modeled after the NCAA ELITE 90 program, recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the conference championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers.
Before the first semifinal game on Friday, the SUNYAC honored Buffalo State's Rose Kory a sophomore Biology major with a 3.96 overall GPA.
