Alex Brimstein Named USTFCCCA Atlantic Region Athlete of the Year.
Geneseo’s senior Alex Brimstein (Webster, NY) has been named the 2012 U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division III Atlantic Region Athlete of the Year.
Brimstein won the Atlantic region title in 25:14, two seconds ahead of the field. He also won the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Championship finishing the 8,000-meter course in 26:25 guiding his team to the league title.
