Cortland Takes SUNYAC Men's Swimmer and Diver of the Week Awards
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC picks Cortland teammates Hunter Sugrue-Neuendorf and Kevin Kohlhoff as its Men's Swimmer and Diver of the Week respectively. This is the second week in a row that Kohlhoff has been honored as the SUNYAC Men's Diver of the Week.
Sugrue-Neuendorf won both the 100-yard breaststroke (1:02.39) and 50-yard freestyle (22.59) during Cortland's home dual-meet victory versus Alfred State Saturday. He also swam on the winning 200-yard medley relay team (1:38.70) on the breaststroke leg and on the Red Dragons' 200-yard freestyle relay team (1:29.68) that had the fastest time as an exhibition entry.
Kohlhoff finished second in 1-meter diving in a dual meet versus Alfred State with a score of 311.03 points. The score marks the second time in two meets that he's met the NCAA regional standard on that board, qualifying him for the NCAA regionals next February and March.
