Kattan Tabbed SUNYAC Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC has announced Cole Kattan from Geneseo as its Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week for the week ending February 5.
Kattan was dominant this past week for the Knights, leading them to a 2-1 week by averaging a double-double with 25.7 points per game and 10 rebounds. In a 82-74 win over Buffalo St., the Scarsdale, NY native dropped 30 points, 14 rebounds and three assists, against Plattsburgh he scored 25 points and tallied 10 rebounds, and in a 74-70 win against Potsdam he dropped 22 points. He finished the week shooting 52.9 percent from the field, 84.2 percent from the free throw line, and 46.7 percent from deep.
