NFCA 2015 All-Region teams announced
The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) has selected the 2015 Division III All-Region Teams. Four SUNYAC student-athletes were named to the Northeast Region first and four were named to the second team while six were named to the third team.
Buffalo State's Stephanie Novo (Jr. Infield), Cortland's Jamie Bucci (Jr. Outfield), and Oneonta's Traci Lichtenstein (Jr. Designated Player) and Brianna Rivera (Sr. Catcher) were named to the First Team All-Region.
Corland's Jamie Lachall (So. Pitcher), Diane Cork (Jr. Outfild), and Sarah Salamone (Sr. Pitcher) along with Buffalo State's Joanna Bardak (Sr. Outfield) were named to the Second Team.
Fredonia's Lindsay Forness (Jr. First/Third Base), Plattsburgh's Brittany Marshall (Sr. Third Base/Shortstop), Potsdam's Jordan Ott (So. Shortstop), Geneseo's Corrin Spallone (Sr. Pitcher), and Cortland's Niki Barbato (So. Outfield) and Mikayla Shade (So. First Base) made Third Team All- Region.
