Three SUNYAC Athletes Honored by ECAC
Division III – Upstate
Baseball Player of the Week
Jordan Giller – Oswego State
Freshman, First Base/Designated Hitter, Toronto, Ontario
Giller helped the Lakers go 3-1 at the start of their Spring break trip. Giller finished the four games with a .545 batting average, .688 on-base percentage, a .909 slugging percentage and six RBI. He had a walk in all four games as well as a double and a homerun in two of Oswego’s wins this week.

Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week
Colleen George – Buffalo State
Sophomore, Goalie, Johnson City, N.Y.
George posted a 2.99 GAA with a .733 save percentage in two more wins as Buffalo State improved to 4-0. George allowed just one goal in the final 20 minutes of a 21-14 win over Roberts Wesleyan, and then had five stops in a 14-1 win over Oberlin.

Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week
Joe Slavik – SUNY Cortland
Junior, Midfielder, Binghamton, N.Y.
Slavik helped lead nationally top-ranked Cortland (5-0) to a pair of wins over ranked teams last week, while becoming the 47th player in program history to reach 100 career points (68 goals, 34 assists, 102 points). In a 12-11 overtime victory versus fourth-ranked Stevens at Virginia Beach on Wednesday, Slavik recorded three goals and one assist, netting the game-tying goal late in the fourth quarter to send the game to OT. In a 10-7 win at 13th-ranked Cabrini on Saturday, Slavik scored four goals. For the two games, he tallied eight points on seven goals and one assist and is third overall in scoring with 13 points on eight goals and five assists.
