Cortland Takes 2025 SUNYAC Men's Indoor Track & Field Team Title
BROCKPORT, N.Y. - Cortland captured the 2025 SUNYAC men's indoor track and field championship with 233 points, Saturday at Brockport's SERC Field House. This is the Red Dragons first SUNYAC title since 2016 and ninth overall. Oneonta finished second while Fredonia was third.
Awards:
The Men's Performer of the Meet, with the most overall points (22.5), is Jonthomas Bierman from Oneonta.
The Men's Rookie of the Meet with the most points among rookies (14), is Ayobami Adebayo from Oneonta.
All-Conference
The All-Conference first, second and third teams consist of the top three finishers in each event.
Elite 20
The SUNYAC Elite 20, is an award modeled after the NCAA ELITE 90 program, which recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the conference championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers. The 2025 Men's Indoor Track and Field Elite 20 award winner is Plattsburgh's Faris Webber. Webber is a senior supply chain management & business administration major with a 4.0 cumulative GPA.
