CSCAA Announces Scholar All-America Awards
The 2010-11 Fredonia State, SUNY Geneseo and Oswego women’s swimming and diving teams were among the 92 Division III Institutions to receive Scholar All-America Team honors from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). In addition Geneseo’s Michelle Rodriguez earned Scholar All-America honors and Fredonia’s Sarah Ficarro received Honorable Mention Scholar All-America recognition.
The Scholar All-America Team award goes to programs with a team cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better. The CSCAA presents the Scholar All American award to college and university swimmers and divers who have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and have qualified for their respective national championship, as well as the Honorable Mention Scholar All American award to college and university swimmers and divers who have earned a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and have achieved a "B" time standard in their respective national championship.
