NSCAA honors eight SUNYAC women's soccer student-athletes
Eight State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) women's soccer players have been selected to the 2014 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Continental Tire National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) Division III Women's All-East Regional and All-American Teams.Â
Geneseo sophomore midfielder Meaghan Johnston was also named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Continental Tire Division III Women's Soccer All-America team. Voted a third-team honoree, Johnston becomes only the third All-American in program history. She was also named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Player of the Year and a first-team all-conference selection.

Johnston, along with teammates Alexa Wandy (So., Defense) and Leah Greene (Fr., Forward) were named to the All-East Region first team.

Plattsburgh's Danielle Schmitt (Sr., Goalkeeper) and Fredonia's Katie Kleine (Sr., Midfielder) were named to the All-East Region second team.

Oneonta's Krystal Scott (Sr., Defense), Cortland's Katilin Cook (Sr., Midfielder), and Brockport's Cayli Carmona (Sr., Forward), were named to the third team.
