Cortland and Plattsburgh to face off in SUNYAC men's lacrosse championship
CORTLAND, N.Y. - Cortland and Plattsburgh will face off for the 2015 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) men's lacrosse crown, Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at the SUNY Cortland Stadium Complex.
The top seeded Cortland Red Dragons defeated No. 4 Oneonta, 21-5, Wednesday night in the semifinal game. With the win Cortland earned hosting rights for the championship game. Second seeded Plattsburgh topped No. 3 Potsdam, 15-7, at home in the other semifinal of the night.
Cortland looks to capture its 23rd SUNYAC men's lacrosse title, while Plattsburgh will try to break up the Red Dragon's seven year winning streak and win its first championship.
