SUNYAC atop Spring Regional Rankings
CORTLAND, N.Y. - The most recent Division III Regional Rankings are out for spring sports. These rankings feature multiple State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) teams across six sports.

In the softball Regional Rankings, four SUNYAC teams cracked the Northeast Region's top 10. Oneonta leads the way ranked fourth in the Northeast with a 15-10 record. Right behind them is Cortland with a 20-4 record. Ranked sixth is New Paltz with a 12-9 overall record, and in the seven spot is Plattsburgh standing at 16-10 overall.

As for baseball, the regional rankings haven't been released, but the D3baseball.com national rankings have 2015 National Champions, Cortland at #1 with a 27-5 record. Oswego sits in fourth overall at 23-3.

In women's lacrosse, the defending Division III National Champions, Cortland is #1 in the East Regional Rankings, as well as at the top of the National ranks with an undefeated record, 14-0. Brockport sits in third in the East with only one loss on the season thus far, 11-1.

In men's lacrosse, Cortland is currently 14th in the North Region (8-5).

Men's outdoor track and field features Cortland, who currently sits fourth in the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) rankings.

Oneonta is 14th  in the women's outdoor track and field USTFCCCA rankings.
The SUNYAC spring championships begin May 3 with the women's lacrosse first round games followed by men's lacrosse on May 4. The outdoor track and field championships are set for May 6-7 at Oneonta. Softball will run May 5-8 while baseball will be May 6-8, both hosted by the top seed.Â
