2015-2016 SUNYAC Winter Season Update
The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) winter athletes are going into the second half of 2015-16 season. There has been tremendous individual efforts rewarded with the honor of SUNYAC athlete of the week, as well as great team performances with the goal of making it into the SUNYAC Championship Tournament.

The Swimming and Diving Championships will take place at Erie Community College Pool in Buffalo, NY. Nine schools will be competing for the SUNYAC title February 17-20. Click here for more details.

Men's and Women's basketball are less than a month from the championships beginning with the quarterfinals on February 23 and continuing with the semi and finals Friday and Saturday, February 26-27. On the men's side, Plattsburgh is currently leading with a record of 8-1 in conference play and 13-3 overall. For the women, Oneonta has the slight edge in conference play at 7-1 with their only loss coming against Geneseo. The Knights are currently 7-2 in conference play.

Men's ice hockey playoffs start February 24, and will conclude with the championship game on Saturday, March 5. Plattsburgh is leading the conference in points (15) with Geneseo one point behind. The Cardinals are 7-1-1 in conference play and 14-3-1 overall.

The men's and women's indoor track and field championships will be held on Friday, February 26 and Saturday, February 27. The meet will be hosted by Brockport at the Special Events Recreation Center.
