SUNYAC basketball continues on to semifinals
CORTLAND, N.Y. - Men's and women's basketball will continue on to the State University of New York Athletic Conference semifinals Friday, February 27. The 2015 SUNYAC Champions will be crowned Saturday at the conclusion of the 4 p.m. finals.
Men's basketball top seed, Plattsburgh, will host the semifinals and finals Friday and Saturday. Tuesday night #3 Oswego defeated #6 Oneonta, 68-59 and will take on second-seeded Geneseo at 5:30 p.m. Fourth-seeded Brockport topped #5 Buffalo State, 78-73, in the quarterfinals and will move on to face the the #1 Cardinals at 7:30 p.m.
On the women's side the regular season champion, Geneseo is set to host the semifinals and finals this weekend. New Paltz will face #2 Cortland at 5:30 p.m. after defeating #6 Buffalo Tuesday night. In the other quarterfinal game, Oneonta outlasted Plattsburgh, 58-57 and will face top-seeded Geneseo at 7:30 p.m.
