SUNYAC Announces 2015 Women's Cross Country Coach of the Year
Cortland, N.Y. - Dan Moore of Geneseo has been selected as the 2015 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Women's Cross Country Coach of the Year as voted on by the conference coaches.
Moore, after returning to coach at his alma mater, led the women's team to some impressive performances, including their first place finish at the Oswego Invitational in September and again at the Mike Woods Invitational in October. A native of Lakewood, N.Y., Moore led the Knights to their fifth-straight SUNYAC title in his first year as the head coach at Geneseo. The Knights placed seven finishers in the top 13 runners at the SUNYAC Championships, including the top runner, Sara Rosenzweig.
