2026 SUNYAC Winter Championship Brackets Set
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The 2026 SUNYAC men's basketball, women's basketball, men's ice hockey and women's ice hockey championship brackets are set. Teams will compete to capture the conference title and an automatic berth into the NCAA tournament.
Men's Basketball - Full Bracket
No. 1 Cortland and No. 2 Oneonta earned a bye into the 2026 SUNYAC men's basketball semifinals where they will face the winners of the first round games. The run for the SUNYAC title starts with first round games in the six-team tournament as No. 3 Oswego will host No. 6 Morrisville and No. 4 New Paltz will host No. 5 Plattsburgh, February 24 at 7 p.m.

Women's Basketball - Full Bracket
The top seed is New Paltz and Cortland is No. 2 The tie breaker to determine the top seed came down to which team had a higher NCAA Power Index (NPI) after Sunday. The Hawks will host the final four and both teams earned a first round bye in the six-team playoff tournament and will advance to the semifinals to play the winners of the first round games on February 27. First round games will feature No. 3 Canton playing host to No. 6 Oneonta and No. 4 Plattsburgh hosting No. 5 Oswego, February 24 at 7 p.m.

Men's Ice Hockey - Full Bracket
The eight-team championship tournament will begin with the quarterfinals, February 25 at 7 p.m. No. 1 Hobart will host No. 8 Fredonia while No. 2 Oswego will host No. 7 Buffalo State. Six-seeded Plattsburgh will travel to play No. 3 Skimore and fifth-seeded Canton will go to No. 4 Cortland. Semifinals are set for Saturday, February 28 hosted by the top two remaining seeds. The final will be Saturday, March 7 at 7 p.m. hosted by the highest remaining seed.

Women's Ice Hockey - Full Bracket
No. 1 Plattsburgh and No. 2 Oswego earned a bye and home ice in the six-team championship format. They will face the winners of the first round games in the semifinals on Saturday, February 28. Competition starts with No. 3 Cortland hosting No. 6 Potsdam and No. 4 William Smith will host No. 5 Canton, February 25. The championship game is set for Saturday, March 7 at the highest remaining seed.
