Cortland Men's Basketball to Host SUNYAC Championship
At the conculsion of the regular-season, the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announces the top six men's basketball teams who will advance to the conference tournament. SUNY Cortland takes the top seed while Plattsburgh takes the second spot. Both teams earned a bye into the semifinals.
The No. 3 seed, Geneseo will host the sixth-seeded New Paltz Tuesday, Feb. 19 at 7:00 p.m. in the quarter finals. While the No. 4 seed Oswego will host Brockport, the fifth-seed, at 8:00 p.m.
Cortland will host the semifinal and final games, Friday, Feb. 22 and Saturday, Feb. 23 respectively. The Cardinals will face the winner of the Geneseo/New Paltz game at 6:00 p.m. and the Red Dragons will take on the winner of the Oswego/Brockport game at 8:00 p.m.
