Nielsen and Makowiec Named PrestoSports Men's Swimmer and Diver of the Week
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announces it's PrestoSports Men's Swimmer and Diver of the Week recognizing Geneseo's Jordan Nielsen and Trent Makowiec.
Nielsen led the Knights to a massive dual meet victory over No. 16 Case Western Reserve, downing the Spartans, 186-114. Nielsen earned first-place finishes in the 50 free (22.24) and 100 free (48.85) and anchored the Knights' first place 200 medley relay team (1:33.79) as well.
Sophomore diver Makowiec earned first place in the one-meter dive with a score of 307.10 as the Knights knocked off No. 16 Case Western Reserve, 186-114. He also added a second place finish in the three-meter dive (300.50).
