Kimmelman earned two wins last week for the nationally seventh-ranked Red Dragons. In a combined six innings of scoreless work, he allowed only two hits and two walks and struck out nine batters. He gave up one hit and one walk and fanned five batters in three and a third innings in an 11-3 win at Rochester Wednesday and allowed one hit and one walk and struck out four in two and two-thirds innings in a 2-1 win over Misericordia in Pennsylvania Sunday.
For the season, Kimmelman is 2-0 with a 3.78 ERA in 11 appearances. He’s allowed 11 hits and eight walks and has struck out 19 batters in 16 and two-thirds innings, and opponents have only a .190 batting average against him.
