2012 Men's and Women's Soccer All-Conference Teams Announced
The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has announced the 2012 Men's and Women's Soccer All-Conference Teams as voted on by the conference coaches.
The SUNYAC regular season women's soccer champion, Brockport had five selections to the All-Conference Teams. The Golden Eagles, ranked third in the National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAA) /Continental Tire NCAA Division III Women's East poll and ranked No. 20 nationally will play the winner of the Cortland/Buffalo State game Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.
Oneonta, the SUNYAC No. 2 seed, had six athletes named to the All-Conference Teams. The Red Dragons are ranked fifth in the NCAA Division III East Region poll and eighth in the NSCAA East Region poll.
No. 3 Fredonia, ranked number sixth in the NSCAA East Region poll had five players named to the All-Conference Teams while No. 4 Cortland also had five.
After clinching the SUNYAC regular season title, Plattsburgh State men's soccer had five athletes placed on the SUNYAC All-Conference Teams. The Cardinals are ranked sixth in the NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division III Men's East poll. Plattsburgh will face the winner of the Cortland/Geneseo game, Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.
