Condidorio and Hamilton Receive All-America Honors
SUNY Fredonia's Reilly Condidorio (Leroy, NY) and Plattsburgh State's Matt Hamilton (Keesville, NY) have been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) /Continental Tire NCAA Division III All-America Second Team.
This is the second year in a row that graduate student Condidorio has been honored as by the NSCAA as a Second Team All-American. She was selected to the NSCAA All-East Region First Team and the First Team All-State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) as well as the SUNYAC All-Tournament team this season. She scored nine goals, four being game-winning, and added four assists this season. Condidorio helped lead the Blue Devils to a third place regular season conference finish (6-2-1). Fredonia finished the season with a loss to Oneonta, 3-1, in the SUNYAC semifinals.
Junior midfielder Hamilton was a first team All-SUNYAC honoree as Plattsburgh State’s leading scorer during a season in which the Cardinals finished with a 17-3-1 record and claimed the SUNYAC regular season title. He appeared in all 21 games and wrapped up a career year with a team-high 10 goals while adding one assist. Hamilton led the team with four game-winning goals, including the overtime goal against Brockport that solidified the top spot in the SUNYAC standing for Plattsburgh. He also netted the game-winner in the SUNYAC semifinal game against SUNY Cortland and landed a spot on the SUNYAC All-Tournament Team.
