Buffalo supports SUNYAC Swimming and Diving Championships
BUFFALO, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Swimming and Diving Championships opened up the first night of swimming finals Thursday with a visit from Patrick Kaler, the president and CEO of Visit Buffalo/Niagara and the Buffalo Sports Commission.
Kaler presented the SUNYAC with a check for $2,500 in appreciation for bringing the Swimming and Diving Championships to Buffalo and supporting the local economy. The SUNYAC has hosted its championships at Erie Community College for years and recently signed a four year contract with the facility. The championship brings in thousands of fans from across the state over a four day period.
