Two SUNYAC student-athletes were awarded ECAC weekly honors
The Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) honored two State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Athletes of the Week for the week of January 4-11.Â
Division III Upstate Men's Diver of the Week was Geneseo's Sam Randall. Randall swept both diving meets to lead the Knights during a tri-meet at Carnegie Mellon with Westminster on Saturday. The rookie diver was the day's top finisher in the one-meter (294.85) event, before completing the sweep with a winning score of 327.35 on the three-meter.
Brockport's Olivia Suhr shared the ECAC Division III Upstate Women's Basketball Co-Player of the Week honors. Suhr averaged 20.7 points and 11.0 rebounds per game, finishing the week with 62 points and 33 rebounds. The junior forward scored a game-high 20 points on 9-of-20 shooting in a 74-61 win over Fredonia. She also added six rebounds, four assists, three steals and a block in the victory.
