Outdoor Track and Field All-Conference Teams
The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announced the 2011 Outdoor Track and Field All-Conference honorees today. The SUNYAC recognized 32 men and 27 women who represent the conference’s eight institutions who sponsor the sport.
To be a member of the all-conference team a student athlete must have finished in the top two of an individual event at the Championship Meet held May 6-7 in Geneseo. Winners of the event are named to the first team, while the second team is comprised of the runner-up from each event.
Team champions Cortland had five female honorees while Geneseo had six male honorees. Cortland led all schools with 13 student-athletes recognized and Fredonia was represented 11 times.
