Plattsburgh cross country, track & field teams schedule Sneaker Collection Drive
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State cross country and track & field teams will be holding a shoe drive next Tuesday through Thursday (Nov. 18-20) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the lobby of the Angell College Center.
Various members of the teams will be setting up shop at tables situated in the lobby and collecting sneakers with laces that students, faculty, staff and community members no longer want or need. All of the shoes collected will be donated to Butternut Ridge Farm in Peru, N.Y., to be used for the TheraPets program. Sneakers of all sizes and conditions are welcome.
