ECAC Honors Three SUNYAC Athletes
Three State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) athletes have been named Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Athletes of the Week. Jule Deren (Geneseo), Glen Forsythe (Cortland), and Gordon Lyons (Geneseo) all have been honored with this award in their respective sport.

Jule Deren – SUNY Geneseo: Women's Swimming
 Deren swam to first-place finishes in the 1,650-yard freestyle (18:16.72) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:19.50) to lead the Knights during the Ithaca Invitational on Saturday.
Glen Forsythe – SUNY Cortland: Track & Field
Forsythe tied a 25-year-old school record in the long jump with his ECAC-qualifying leap of 7.19 meters (23 feet, 7.25 inches) at the Ithaca College Bomber Invitational. He finished first out of 39 competitors and currently ranks second nationally in Division III in the event.
Gordon Lyons – SUNY Geneseo: Men's Basketball
Lyons averaged a double-double 21.3 points and 12.3 rebounds while shooting a sizzling 65.8% for the Knights last week. Lyons was on fire in Geneseo's duel with Brockport, scoring 25 points and grabbing a SUNYAC single-game season high 17 rebounds. He also added 28 points, including the 1,000th of his career, and totaled 16 boards in a victory at Buffalo State on Saturday.
