Two more SUNYAC athletes recognized by ECAC
Geneseo's Abigail Max and Brockport's Marisa Gosdeck have been recognized this week by the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) for the Division III Upstate Region.
Max took home the Female Swimmer of the Week for the week ending December 7. She won four individual events for the Knights at the Ithaca Winter Invitational over the weekend. On Friday, the senior set a pool record in the 500-freestyle with a time of 4:58.81. Max moved onto Saturday to win the 100-back and 200-freestyle with times of 57.78 and 1:52.55, respectively. She finished the weekend by winning the 100-free with a time of 52.39.
Gosdeck received the Rookie of the Week for Women's Indoor Track & Field. She was second in both the long jump and the 60-meter hurdles. She recorded a distance of 4.99 meters in the long jump and a time of 10.01 in the 60-meter hurdles.
