Brockport set to host the 2015 SUNYAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships
The College at Brockport will play host to the 2015 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships Friday and Saturday, May 1-2.
Heading into this year's SUNYAC Championships, the Brockport men rank No. 1 in the men's Atlantic region and 18th nationally in Division III. Brockport is ranked No. 2 in the region and 10th in the national poll. Theses rankings reflect the April 28th edition and are ranked by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
For the women, Oneonta is ranked 17th in the top 25 national rankings and 2nd in the Atlantic region, followed by Cortland and Geneseo in 3rd and 4th, respectively. Buffalo State (8th) and Brockport (9th) are also in the top ten.
In last year's SUNYAC Championships held at Geneseo, the Oneonta men took their first title in program history. On the women's side, the Cortland Red Dragons captured their fourth consecutive outdoor championship.
