Oneonta Men's Soccer Trains with Special Olympians
Thursday Dec. 1 was another busy day for the SUNY Oneonta men's soccer team as they continued to prepare for its national semifinal on Friday Dec. 2 vs. Calvin College beginning at 8pm CST in San Antonio.
Part of Oneonta's day included a training session with 44 special olympians. NCAA Div. III has partnered with Special Olympics to help improve the lives of Special Olympics athletes through their involvement with Division III student-athletes and to foster a mutual learning experience between Division III student-athletes and Special Olympics athletes.
As part of all the national championship weekends throughout the year, participants will be involved in clinics and training sessions with special olympians across the country.
